Christmas Brunch

Brunch for Christmas Day and Christmas parties is always a good idea, in my opinion. The marriage of breakfast and lunch dishes in unique pairings offers something for everyone your serving. Who can turn down bacon and dessert?

Last weekend (12/10/22) I had the joy of hosting a Christmas brunch in my home for a group of eight. I created a brunch buffet down my kitchen counter on a base of layered craft paper. The craft paper isn't necessary for a buffet, but boy does it help with clean up! If you've read my other planning blog posts, you know I am team disposable and easy cleanup!

Initially in my menu creation I prepared for lunch. Since holiday weekend time is valuable, the consensus was brunch suited the group better than a later gathering. I scraped the lunch menu and decided on the dishes here for the Christmas brunch.

Bagel and Croissant Tray

Berry French Toast

Waffles and Cocktail Smokies

Mixed Fresh Fruit

Biscuits with a Honey Butter Board

Bacon and Breakfast Sausage

Mini Hashbrown Cups

Hot Ham and Cheddar Sandwiches

Fluffy Scrambled Eggs

Glazed Donut Tree

Chocolate Frosted Vanilla Cake

Along side all these delicious brunch dishes and desserts was a mimosa station and a cocoa/coffee/espresso station with all the yummy toppings like whipped cream, marshmallows, chocolate chips, and peppermint spoons.

I hope you found brunch idea inspiration from this post! Each of these dishes is perfect for brunch no matter what the occasion.

Another great dish to serve for brunch (or anytime) is my hearty weekend breakfast casserole. You can find the recipe in a previous post.

Until next time, xoxo,

Grace
